TERMS & CONDITIONS

Services

 

 

D’Arcys Dog Training provides dog training and behaviour support services based on current best practice and professional experience.

 

All training is tailored to the individual dog and owner. As behaviour is influenced by many factors outside our control, no specific outcomes or guarantees are given.

 

 

 

Bookings & Payment

 

 

  • All sessions must be booked in advance.

  • Payment is required in full unless otherwise agreed.

  • Block bookings or packages must be used within the agreed timeframe.

 

 

Failure to pay may result in sessions being withheld or cancelled.

 

 

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

 

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

  • Missed sessions without notice are non-refundable.

 

 

D’Arcys Dog Training reserves the right to cancel or rearrange sessions due to illness, emergencies, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

 

 

 

Client Responsibilities

 

 

Clients agree to:

 

  • Provide accurate and honest information about their dog’s behaviour, history, and health

  • Follow training advice to the best of their ability

  • Use recommended equipment safely and appropriately

  • Inform us of any changes that may affect training (health, medication, environment, incidents)

 

 

Progress depends heavily on owner consistency outside of sessions.

 

 

 

Health, Safety & Welfare

 

 

  • Dogs must be fit and healthy to participate in training.

  • Any medical conditions, injuries, or behavioural risks must be disclosed prior to sessions.

  • D’Arcys Dog Training reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if safety or welfare is compromised.

 

 

Clients remain responsible for the handling and control of their dog at all times.

 

 

 

Behaviour & Reactivity Work

 

 

Behaviour modification, including reactivity support, involves working with emotional responses and may take time.

 

Results vary, progress is not linear, and complete resolution cannot be guaranteed.

 

 

 

Liability

 

 

While all reasonable care is taken, D’Arcys Dog Training shall not be held liable for:

 

  • Injury to dogs, owners, or third parties

  • Loss or damage to personal property

  • Behavioural outcomes following training

 

 

Training advice and use of equipment are followed at the owner’s discretion and risk.

 

 

 

Media & Marketing

 

 

Photos or videos may occasionally be taken for training records or educational purposes.

Explicit consent will always be obtained before any content is used publicly.
